Bug-fix Pick-A-Mix!

We are back with a bunch of random bits and bobs.

In this release we have:

  • Updated the copyright year in the main menu
  • Fixed a super annoying bug where the Party-GM was not reassigned correctly in a bunch of cases (often around people leaving and rejoining the board)
  • Added a popup to alert the user when they attempt to use the picking-tool on a deprecated asset
  • Fixed rendering of hide-volumes on macOS
  • Reconfigured all props so visual effects work on them correctly.
  • Added some extra messages to the log (should help with context when diagnosing issues)
  • Improved error handling on community creature downloads, both in general, and for a specific kind of asset corruption.
  • Fixed a tagging mistake where 'rabbit' was accidentally considered an example of 'rodent' (which is not true). Rabbit now has a dedicated tag.
  • Improve logging around some network-related requests.
  • Fixed server-override launch argument
  • Corrected an issue in vision-limits where the UI allowed setting unsupported ranges.

In more annoying news, at least one ISP has (incorrectly) decided that a domain TaleSpire uses for its servers is suspicious and blocked it. This is stopping a bunch of you from connecting. We have posted more about it here https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/720620/view/684139458559213782 and will keep you updated as this develops.

We have so many things in progress, so these things outside our control are a huge pain. If you have industry knowledge on how to handle these kinds of issues, please reach out to me at baggers@bouncyrock.com (especially if you work at Xfinity!).

Until next time,

Fair winds and smooth waters.
