Hello builders!

I don’t write much, ever. I identify myself as more of a worker bee for TaleSpire. But, I would like to share some things, thoughts and stuff I am working on. Everyday before I start my work, I sit down with a cup of coffee and take some time to see what you’re all creating. The maps are just incredible. Myself, Jason, Jonny and Rachel are continuously inspired to provide more "brushes" for your paintings. We get to see everyone pushing at the boundaries of what is possible. Your imagination is magic.

Recently I finished the Interstellar set. Seeing how it has helped tie so many of the modern sets together, it has been extra heart-warming to see. Sci-Fi is something I hold very close to my heart. I am a product of Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien, Terminator, and the Dark Crystal. The list goes on. As I’m sure it does for all you builders too. Fantasy and sci-fi belong to everyone. No matter what.Interior of Interstellar

Right now my task is the roof for the next big Kickstarter set Jason has been working on. The roof is in the direction of Jonny's red Tavern roof, being one of the first three sets Jonny and Jason made all the way back in the Alpha days. The team has grown a bit since then and for good reasons. In all departments. Still I do feel the look and the style of TaleSpire was concreted back then.

Think Miniatures. Think Fun. Think story.

(Work in Progress)

So, the adventure continues.

Some spoilers, in no specific order:

  • A trip to Toronto inspired sketching down a modern skyscraper. I plan to follow through on this.
  • Mega sector is planned to complement Jason's Mega dungeon. We will work on that sci-fi set together. Fun!
  • We are looking into refurbishing Jason's old Castle 01 set to be a complete set

A ton is not listed here of course. Meanwhile, keep sending us tickets and or requests. It may take time before it is addressed or considered. But Team TaleSpire is on it.

Keep making magic, and

Thanks for reading!

Hannah (heckbo)
