So far, you have had to download a zip every time we have updated TaleWeaverLite. That kinda sucked.
If all goes well, then today’s zip should be the last one you need to download, as we have made TaleWeaverLite work with the unity package manager. This means that updating TaleWeaverLite will look like this:
Much better.
To set it up, please follow the “first time setup” section of the guide here https://talespire.com/taleweaverlite-guide . Naturally you already the right version of Unity installed, so it’s just about downloading the latest zip and adding it as a new project.
Please don’t try overwriting the old files with the new ones; they are similar, but doing that will break stuff.
Sorry that you have to do that again, but it should be smoother from now on.

·The new version should just make sure that you do not need to manually download each TaleWeaver update from now on (though there seems to have been a bit of an oopsie in that the new version requires to have git installed which we didn't notice prior to release)
Obviously though with future updates to TaleWeaver there might be more features coming, so you may want to update older mods later down the road so they have access to said new features (as an example: once we add tagging support to TaleWeaverLite you may want to update old mods to include tags)
